Japanese traveler Daisuke Kajiyama, after years of backpacking, returned to Japan with his partner Hila to pursue his dream of opening a guesthouse. He found two abandoned "akiya" houses in Tamatori, Shizuoka, and spent years renovating them into Yui Valley, an agriculture guesthouse, preserving their authentic style.
