EU Gas Storage Injections Lag Behind Previous Years, Exceeding 19 BCM Since April
EU countries have injected over 19 billion cubic meters of gas into storage since April, but facilities remain at 45.56% capacity, significantly below the five-year average and last year's levels. Injections in June are down 16% year-on-year, raising concerns about meeting the 90% target for the upcoming winter amid competition with Asia for LNG and higher fuel prices.
