今年是“中非人文交流年”，也是中非开启外交关系70周年。塞内加尔济金绍尔市副市长哈吉·萨尔·费耶表示，历经多年发展，非中合作由传统领域拓展至科研、人文等领域。下一步，非中应深化合作，持续拓展城市友好结对，推动青年、教师、文艺从业者、企业家常态化往来；围绕创意产业、非遗保护等开展合作；完善双方在社会治理等领域的互学机制。
作为突尼斯千年文明古城，托泽尔市素有“撒哈拉门户”之称。突尼斯托泽尔市政府秘书长拉希德·纳赛尔表示，托泽尔持续优化旅游配套资源，多措并举吸引更多中国游客到访。针对本地荒漠化治理等难题，期待同北京等城市开展更多合作，共促文旅、生态领域发展。
摩洛哥是北非地区首个与中国签署共建“一带一路”合作规划的国家。摩洛哥马拉喀什市市长代表哈立德·法塔维表示，两国企业搭建合作纽带至关重要。例如，将摩洛哥手工丝绸、葡萄酒等特色产品，与中国成熟电商运营经验相结合，孵化跨境创业项目，实现经济与文化协同可持续发展。
