Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla Crosses Rs 100 Crore Worldwide

Akshay Kumar's horror comedy 'Bhooth Bangla' which opened to mixed reviews, has not let it come in the way of its box office performance. The film, which enjoyed a good first weekend at the box office; continued to perform well on the weekdays and register a strong Rs 100 crore debut.

The film went on to rake in Rs 19 crore and Rs 23 crore on Day 2 and Day 3, respectively. It saw a drop in collections on its first Monday, earning just around Rs 6.75 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film that ran across 11,580 shows in India, collected Rs 7.65 crore net on its first Tuesday. This brings total India gross collections to Rs 86.21 crore and total India net collections to Rs 72.40 crore so far.
