SEVASTOPOL, April 26 — The Ukrainian armed forces launched about 100 unmanned aerial vehicles at Sevastopol on Sunday night, according to Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev.
Razvozhayev said the raid was a large-scale attack on the city. He wrote on Telegram that most of the drones were destroyed over the sea or over Sevastopol, while some were downed over the Republic of Crimea.
Earlier, he had reported the destruction of 71 UAVs.
Razvozhayev said the attack was repelled and that large-scale consequences were avoided due to the actions of air defense units, the Black Sea Fleet, and mobile fire groups of the Sevastopol detachment.
