Arsonists have targeted a luxury car dealership in Melbourne's inner-east overnight, smashing into the building and setting it alight.
Police were called to the dealership in Richmond about 11:20pm.
It's believed three offenders used accelerant to light a fire in the premises before fleeing in a vehicle.
Two cleaners were inside at the time and were not injured.
Victoria Police said the building sustained minor damage and the investigation was ongoing.
Officers were inspecting what appeared to be a pair of partly burned shoes at the site.
Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) said the fire was reported by multiple people, and crews arrived at the scene within three minutes.
"Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze and searched the area for occupants," an FRV spokesperson said.
"The fire has been deemed suspicious and will be investigated by Victoria Police."
A security guard working at the dealership on Friday morning said his co-worker alerted police to the incident, which had happened before he arrived.
