Arteta Hopes for Timber's Return for Champions League Final

Mikel Arteta is hoping Jurriën Timber can recover from a groin injury in time to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on May 27. Timber has not played since Arsenal’s win over Everton on 14 March. Arteta said: "He’s progressed a little bit in the last few days; he’s feeling better. We’re going to try to get him available as quickly as possible but he’s obviously been out now for a while, unfortunately. He’s such an important player for us." Arsenal confirmed Ben White would miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. Cristhian Mosquera is expected to fill in against Burnley, with Riccardo Calafiori as an alternative after playing at right-back in a win over PSG last year. The Arsenal supporters’ group REDaction plans to welcome the team before the Burnley game, aiming to re-establish a five-point lead over Manchester City.
