AWS Interconnectは現時点でGoogle Cloudとの接続が正式サービスとなっており、2026年5月にはOracle Cloudとの接続をパブリックプレビュー版として提供開始。また、今年後半にはMicrosoft Azureとの接続も予定されています。
今回発表された無料枠は500Mbps、月に約160TB相当のデータ転送が可能な接続を、顧客ごとに1つのリージョンあたり1回線、1つのクラウドプロバイダに対して提供されます。
この接続は有料サービスと同じネットワークパス、設備、およびデバイスの堅牢性を備えたものとして提供され、追加費用なしでAmazon CloudWatch Network Synthetic Monitorが搭載されています。
ただし接続先のクラウド側で発生するトラフィックについては接続先のクラウドにて費用が発生する点には注意が必要です。
