A security guard has been arrested in Carlsbad, California, after allegedly firing a taser into a man’s face at point-blank range outside a bar. The incident, captured on camera, shows a confrontation unfolding outside the venue before the man collapses to the ground. Videos circulating online appear to show a shirtless man standing near the entrance of the venue when the guard pulls out a stun gun and fires it from close range, sending him crashing to the ground in pain. In a statement quoted by the outlet, the Carlsbad Police Department said: "The investigation determined that during the incident, a security guard allegedly deployed a stun gun during the altercation. The adult male was evaluated by the Carlsbad Fire Department and transported to a local hospital for treatment."
