CSTO Director General Taalatbek Masadykov and Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov met with AUCTC Acting Director Idriss Mounir Lallali on May 25.
"The sides exchanged opinions on challenges and threats in the organization’s zone of responsibility and on the African continent," the statement says.
"In line with previous agreements to establish closer ties, the sides signed a framework cooperation agreement between the CSTO Secretariat and AUCTC," it says.
