Dhurandhar: The Revenge Becomes Highest-Grossing Film of the Year
The Ranveer Singh starrer nears the all-time box office record set by Baahubali 2
Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, has become the highest-grossing film of the year. The movie has broken several records at the box office. The espionage thriller has completed six weeks in theaters and is still raking in substantial amounts, adding to its humungous overall collection. The Aditya Dhar directorial currently holds the place of third highest-grossing Indian film ever after Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' and SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion'. The Ranveer Singh starrer is a few crores away from breaching the record set by 'Baahubali 2'. From tomorrow (May 1), the movie will enter its seventh week in cinemas, and it will be interesting to see if the spy thriller can break the record.
According to the Sacnilk report, on Day 43, 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge' is currently running across 851 shows. As of now, it has minted Rs 13 lakh (Rs 0.13 crore) and the numbers are expected to increase as the day progresses. This has pushed the total India gross collection to Rs 1,357.35 crore. The total India net collection has reached Rs 1,134.07 crore.

Worldwide collection of 'Dhurandhar 2': The Aditya Dhar directorial has netted Rs 424.95 crore in the overseas market. This, in turn, pushed the worldwide collection of the film to Rs 1,782.15 crores. Meanwhile, the global collection of 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is Rs 1,788.06 crore.
