French DJ Kavinsky Found Dead at 50 in Paris Home

French DJ Vincent Belorgey, known professionally as Kavinsky, was found dead at his Paris home on Tuesday, as confirmed by French prosecutors on Wednesday. An inquiry has been opened to determine the cause of death, with no suspicious elements found at the scene. Belorgey, who would have turned 51 on July 31, was best known for his 2010 single "Nightcall", featured in the film "Drive". He also performed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games closing ceremony. French Culture Minister Catherine Pegard mourned the loss, praising his unique, danceable, and nostalgic music. Kavinsky launched his career in the early 2000s, supporting acts like Daft Punk.
