The gold rush at the world titles has continued for Jess Fox, with the canoe slalom legend spearheading the Australian women's kayak team to victory in Oklahoma.

A day after three-time Olympic champion Fox claimed gold in the kayak cross time trial event, the 32-year-old joined her younger sister Noemie Fox and Kate Eckhardt at the top of the podium.

The victory at Riversport Rapids on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST) continued Fox's successful return to competition since undergoing surgery to remove a tumour from a kidney last August.

It is the second title for the trio after winning gold in London in 2023 in the same event, which is only contested at the world championships.

Competing on the same course that will host the canoe slalom at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, the Australians used experience and expertise in their clinical run to put pressure on the final three teams.

In third place heading into the final third of the race, the trio lifted to complete a clean run through the gates and finish 0.64 seconds ahead of France and Slovakia.

"We're a bit of a dream team," Noemie said.

"We've been training so well and supporting each other. There was so much trust and support in the lead in, and we felt so good and wanted to do our best out there.

"To share these moments and be so proud of what we've done and to have those moments in an individual sport where we can collectively push each other and celebrate together is so special.

"It was just so much fun out there and to be rewarded with a gold medal is amazing, and I'm so proud of our double title now."

The golden girls also had success in the individual kayak race, with all qualifying for the top 30 semifinals.

Despite posting the fastest time of the day, Jess Fox, who is chasing a 16th world title, was docked for two gate touches and progressed in ninth place.

"A bit of a shaky start with the two touches back-to-back, but overall it was then solid and I kept the boat speed on and I knew I would have to push to qualify because you never know — that top 30 can be really tight especially on a course like this," she said.

Eckhardt qualified in 11th position and Noemie was 25th.

In the men's kayak teams final, the Australian men had an unfortunate 50-second penalty in their run and finished 18th.

They had better luck in the individual kayak heats, with all six paddlers progressing through to the K1 semi-finals.

Olympian Tim Anderson was the best of the Aussies in eighth.
