The South African pacer took to Instagram to thank supporters for their concern and issued an update on his condition. "Thank you for the messages, all good," Ngidi wrote in his first public reaction after the injury scare, easing fears over his condition, while sharing a story on Instagram.

Ngidi has since been discharged from a Delhi hospital after the incident. The fast bowler suffered a worrying fall on the back of his head and neck during the match and was taken to BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital for observation. Delhi Capitals co-owner and chairman Kiran Kumar Grandhi also visited the hospital to check on the pacer's condition.
