New Arrest in 22-Year-Old Leeds Teen Murder Case

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death in Leeds 22 years ago. Tyrone Clarke, 16, was attacked by a 20-strong gang in Beeston on 22 April 2004, resulting in the conviction of three men and a 17-year-old boy, who were jailed in 2005. On Sunday, West Yorkshire Police confirmed a further arrest had been made. The force said the man had since been released under investigation. Tyrone's mother, Lorraine Fraser, told the BBC she was weary of having to keep fighting for answers more than two decades after her son's murder: "I want to get on with my life as much as I can, I don't want this anymore but I feel like I have to carry on for my son." "I would appeal to anyone with any information, please come forward, put me out of my misery. "I'm getting older now. I'm not as young as I was. I've got a broken heart." Paying tribute to her son, she said: "We had the best relationship. He used to torment the life out of me. He was a good son."
