The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a new family portrait as they mark 15 years of marriage. In the photo, William and Catherine are seen lying in the grass, smiling, with their children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - and their dog during the Easter break. It was taken by photographer Matt Porteous in Cornwall. The image was shared on social media alongside a heart emoji and the caption: "Celebrating 15 years of marriage". The royal couple married at Westminster Abbey in London in 2011, in a televised ceremony that drew an estimated audience of billions from across the world. The prince and princess, who met at the University of St Andrews, spent their first three years of married life in Anglesey, where Prince William undertook helicopter training to become an RAF search and rescue pilot. "I loved my time up here. It was great fun… I do miss it. I miss the job, I miss the camaraderie," Prince William told trainees at the station on Tuesday. "Your time up here will go quickly, that's the thing. You'll look back with fond memories," he said.

Nursery Bills in Wales Highest in Britain as Parents Consider Giving Up Work

Nursery costs for under-twos in Wales are the highest in Great Britain, with average part-time care at £166.33 per week. Parents across Wales have contacted BBC Wales about rising childcare costs ahead of the Senedd election on 7 May, with some considering giving up work as nursery bills exceed their spouse's salary. Wales lags behind England, which offers 30 hours free childcare from nine months, while Welsh parents only get funded hours for children aged two and older.

Gen Z Cocktail Trend: BuzzBallz and Pre-mixed Drinks Challenge 'Sober Generation' Narrative

Pre-mixed cocktails like BuzzBallz are surging in popularity among Gen Z, with UK retail sales up 30% year-on-year to March 2026. Despite the narrative that young people are drinking less, 43% of Gen Z have consumed pre-mixed cans in the past six months. The viral drinks, marketed as playful and Instagrammable, contain 13.5% alcohol but are criticised for potentially framing high-potency drinks as less harmful.
