NEW DELHI, May 25. /TASS/. Russian foreign trade company Prodintorg and Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) signed a major fertilizer supply contract, the Russian Embassy in Dhaka said on its Telegram account.
"This is the agreement on imports of more than 500,000 tons of potash fertilizers in the financial year of 2026-2027," the diplomatic mission said.
"This is the largest contract throughout the history of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fertilizer sphere," the Embassy said. BADC is importing potash fertilizers from Russia for several years thus far within the framework of previous agreements with Prodintorg, it added.
