Russia launched its military operation in Ukraine, citing goals of demilitarization and denazification.
MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky’s actions are leaving Moscow with no choice but to continue its special military operation until all its goals are achieved, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told TASS in an interview.
"Zelensky does not need peace. For him and his clique, a prolonged conflict is the only way to remain in power and escape accountability for their crimes," he said. "In such circumstances, we have no choice but to continue steadfastly pursuing the goals of demilitarizing and denazifying Ukraine and removing threats emanating from it by military means," Galuzin stressed.
"We are not shutting the door on the negotiation process, but the ball is not currently in our court," the senior diplomat added.
