If you're unfamiliar with the Türkiye line-up for this afternoon's clash, here is a quick refresher.

Skipper Hakan Çalhanoğlu is one of the finest strikers of a football in Europe, particularly on set pieces.

Çalhanoğlu has 106 caps and 22 goals at the international level and has played 384 games for Inter Milan and AC Milan at club level.

The two young crown jewels of the Türkiye side are Kenan Yıldız and Arda Güler.

Yıldız plays his club football for Juventus in Italy and will be a key factor off the bench in today's clash.

Güler is arguably Türkiye's best player and plays his club football at Real Madrid. He has six goals from 30 international appearances.

Harry Souttar will captain the Socceroos for the second time, after leading them in San Diego against Switzerland.

He's unsurprisingly joined by Alessandro Circati, but more surprisingly they are joined by Cameron Burgess.

18-year old Lucas Herrington, who is being courted by Spanish giants Barcelona (who may or may not have had a bid rejected already depending on what you read), started alongside Souttar and Circati in the Socceroos past two games.

But Tony Popovic has opted for experience in his defensive unit.

Jordy Bos and Jacob Italiano start as the wingbacks as expected.
