DONETSK, June 26. /TASS/. The Skval and Skala separate assault regiments are widely resented in Ukraine for torture and heavy troop losses, Sergey Belozyorov, a captured serviceman from the Shkval regiment, told TASS.
"Everyone despises this regiment, along with the 425th one [Skala]. It’s because people there are treated as cannon fodder. Almost no one comes back. Moreover, they use torture," the captive soldier said.
According to him, only a small number of troops return from combat missions, most of them after being wounded.
