A Texas-based entrepreneur and CEO Ryan Stewman weighed in on the H-1B and the Indian situation in texas and said a couple of months ago, he was also against the H-1B visa program. But now he thinks driving Indians away from the US will hurt the economy of the US as Americans are not studying engineering or medicine. The garage rant comes at a time when Indians, specifically in Texas, face a lot of hatred for what Americans refer to as a 'takeover'. Stewman said he voted for President Donald Trump and he stood for America First but for America to win, Indians do not need to be driven out of Texas. "They say there has been a mass invasion of the tech corridor. There is a lot of fraud. But there is a lot of fraud within any community. No culture is exempt from fraud. There are just different types of fraud. So the President listened and changed the H-1B guidelines. We've had tech layoffs and a lot of AI replaced these people's jobs. Which means in the next 60 days if they don't get sponsored by somebody else, these Indians are going to have to head back to India," Stewman said, referring to the recent layoffs that affected Indians in the US. "All over the internet, I see people cheering for this. Well, first of all, Americans aren't going to school for engineering and becoming doctors. By large, they're going to school for like gender studies or how to have a septum with f**king piercing blue hair on top of that," Stewman said criticizing Americans. "I live in Frisco, Texas, and Indians seriously commit zero crime. It is the safest place to live. They are non-violent, non-confrontational. They can't drive but other than that, they're good people. So I see people saying, 'Let's run the Indians out then housing will be affordable.' Well, first of all, these people who are here on H1B visas, they're mostly making six figures a year. So if you're poor, you still can't afford [a house] even when they're gone," he noted. This was in reference to reports that housing prices came down as H-1B visa holders were moving out of the country. "You want affordable housing, so you want poorer people. Which poor people tend to commit more crimes? So you wanna run the people who are a net positive on society and who create zero crime. You wanna run them out and take the risk that poor people are gonna come in and buy their houses and not commit crimes," he said.
