Volvo 電動休旅 EX30 火燒車事件風波仍未平息，在美國僅上市兩年就退出市場後，泰國也因為在過去兩個月內，發生兩起 EX30 火燒車事件，泰國 Volvo 不但將遭遇訴訟訴外，泰國交通部更已暫停 EX30 新車註冊掛牌上路。
綜合外電報導，由於電池組有過熱風險，可能會起火，Volvo 先前已召回全球受影響的 EX30，受影響數量高達 4 萬輛，泰國則有 1,668 輛受影響，Volvo 建議車主，需將充電限制在 70% 以內，並將車輛停在室外，遠離建築物和其他車輛，避免可能的火災風險。然而在 3 月 25 日與 5 月 16 日，分別有一輛 EX30 發生火災，讓泰國當局採取行動。
Volvo 先前表示，起火機率非常低，只佔 0.1%。並提出電池更換方案，並提供臨時用車，然而泰國 EX30 車主所拒絕，表示不接受更換電池的要求，而是要全額退費。
泰國消費者保護委員會（OCPB）已達成決議，將對泰國 Volvo 提起民事訴訟，尋求包括退款在內的賠償。泰國交通部也已在 5 月 21 日停止 EX30 新車掛牌上路的作業，在還沒完成修復與通過安全測試前，不得掛牌上路。
進入泰國 Volvo 官網，可發現 EX30 已從 Volvo 官網移除，截至目前為止，泰國 Volvo 尚未針對訴訟部分提出回應。
