1,070 freelancers identified as disguised workers to evade insurance

The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced that it will officially enroll 1,070 workers who were disguised as freelancers to avoid insurance into employment and industrial accident insurance, and impose fines on businesses. This follows a crackdown in March on 'fake 3.3' contracts, where employers misrepresented workers as freelancers to avoid labor laws and deduct 3.3% income tax.
