Woman Sues Phoenix Men Over AI-Generated Deepfake Images Used to Create Fake Influencers
MG, a Scottsdale woman, discovered AI-generated deepfake images of herself being circulated on Instagram and used to advertise AI ModelForge, a platform teaching men to create AI influencers. She filed suit in January against Jackson Webb, Lucas Webb, and Beau Schultz, alleging they scraped women's photos to generate fake models selling content on Fanvue. The men allegedly taught subscribers via Whop how to use CreatorCore software to create deepfake content, generating over $50,000 in one month. The Take It Down Act doesn't take effect until May 2026, and existing state laws are described as reactive.
