A 25-year-old teacher in Cardiff has reported two men who catcalled and beeped at her and her sister to South Wales Police, after discovering their van was untaxed and reporting it to the DVLA. The incident occurred on Newport Road on 15 April while the women were crossing the busy three-lane road. Aneesa, who is originally from Canada, filmed the confrontation and posted it on social media. Street harassment became a criminal offence in the UK on 1 April this year, carrying a maximum sentence of two years in prison.
