Foo Fighters release their 12th album Your Favourite Toy, a return to post-grunge punk roots described by Dave Grohl as a "powder keg". Recorded during a period of personal turmoil following his 2022 admission of fathering a child outside his marriage, the album features raw, desperate vocals and lyrics brimming with turmoil. The band continue to grieve drummer Taylor Hawkins's 2022 death, with Grohl revealing they nearly disbanded. The record marks their second release since Hawkins' death, with new drummer Ilan Rubin joining the lineup.
