The Delhi High Court will hear the Enforcement Directorate's plea challenging a trial court order that refused to accept its chargesheet against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and others in the National Herald-linked money laundering case. The ED argues the trial court's December 16, 2025 order is legally flawed, claiming cognisance of the complaint was wrongly deemed 'impermissible in law' due to the absence of an FIR. The case involves allegations of properties worth Rs 2,000 crore belonging to Associated Journals Limited being fraudulently acquired.
