Assa Abloy lays off Level Home staff, folds business into Kwikset

Assa Abloy has laid off most of Level Home's staff and is integrating the smart lock company into Kwikset, an internal source told The Verge. While founders are departing, Assa Abloy states it will continue to develop and support Level locks, despite concerns about customer base preservation.
