Their car collided with a truck from behind in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in their immediate deaths. The duo was returning to Hyderabad from Nellore when the incident occurred.

The victim met her in Hyderabad in 2018 and gave her money over years for a flat, gold, car and other expenses. She refused to proceed with marriage in July 2020 and later avoided returning funds despite agreeing to pay Rs 70 lakh through post-dated cheques. The case has been registered under Section 318 (cheating) of BNS.
