The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided multiple locations in Maharashtra and Gujarat as part of a money laundering probe linked to drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Dola. Dola, who was extradited from Türkiye in April, is accused of running a transnational drug syndicate and is a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim.

He was apprehended in Istanbul and subsequently deported to Delhi on a special aircraft. Dola is now in custody and being questioned by intelligence officials.
