Two US Navy E/A-18G Growler jets collided mid-air during the Gunfighter Skies Air Show near Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. All four crew members ejected safely. The incident is under investigation.
Three persons — one Tangkhul Naga and two Kuki-Zo — were killed and at least five others injured in two separate gunfights between rival Naga and Kuki armed groups in Manipur's Ukhrul district on Friday. A 29-year-old Tangkhul Naga, Horshokmi Jamang, was killed in an ambush near Sinakeithei village. Two Kuki-Zo village volunteers died defending Mullam village, where 17 houses were burnt. Separately, NSCN (Aleng Group) claimed to have killed five Myanmar-based KNA-B cadres, though this remains unconfirmed.
