Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk Appeals Four-Year Doping Ban: FA Kept Decision Confidential
Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has appealed a four-year doping ban issued by the FA for meldonium, a cardiovascular medication. The FA kept the ban confidential since January, only informing a small group around the player. The case only became public when Cas announced the appeal on 25 February. If upheld, Mudryk cannot play until December 2028; if reduced, he could return next season. Chelsea can terminate his contract, sell him, or retain him after the Cas decision.
