OpenAI launched Advanced Account Security, an opt-in setting for ChatGPT users requiring passkeys or physical security keys instead of passwords. The feature targets high-risk users including journalists and political dissidents, excludes conversations from model training, and partners with Yubico to offer discounted security keys. Trusted Access for Cyber program members must enable it by June 1.
