OCBC has launched GOLDX, a tokenized physical gold fund issued on Ethereum and Solana, in partnership with its asset management arm Lion Global Investors and digital asset exchange DigiFT. The token provides on-chain exposure to the LionGlobal Singapore Physical Gold Fund, which has $525 million in assets under management. Targeted at institutional investors, hedge funds and asset managers, the fund can be purchased using stablecoins and fiat currencies, with tokens delivered directly to investors' blockchain wallets.
