
Two Dead, Six Injured in Apartment Fire in Uiwang, South Korea
A fire broke out at an apartment building in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, on Thursday, killing two people and injuring six others. A man in his 60s died after falling from the 14th-floor flat where the fire began, while his wife in her 50s was found dead inside their home. Authorities discovered a suspected suicide note at the site. The blaze started around 10:30 a.m. on the 14th floor of the 20-story building and was fully extinguished about two hours later. Police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and the couple's deaths.
