「AI需要を的確に捉えた戦略に対する資本市場からの評価と信頼の表れだ」。2日にオンラインで開催された投資家ら向けの事業戦略説明会で、太田裕雄社長は、そう自信をのぞかせた。2024年12月の上場時1440円だったキオクシアの株価は、7万7540円（2日終値）と50倍超に急騰している。
キオクシアHDは5月の決算発表で過去最高益を更新した。更に26年4～6月期の連結最終（当期）利益について、前年同期比47倍超の8690億円になると見通した。
わずか3カ月で直前1年間分を超える最終利益を見込む強気の業績予想で、単純計算すれば27年3月期に約3・5兆円となり、トヨタの約3兆円を上回る。株価は上昇し、時価総額は国内3位の約42兆円（2日終値）にまで浮上した。
