Taiwan to Increase Airport Service Fees in Two Phases
Taiwan's Ministry of Transportation announced a two-phase increase in airport service fees for departing passengers. Starting September 2026, the fee will rise from NT$500 to NT$750, and then to NT$1000 in September 2028. The increased revenue will support the Tourism Development Fund and airport construction, including the Taoyuan International Airport's third terminal and runway.
