South Korea Urges North Korea to Rejoin Greater Tumen Initiative, Citing Benefits

South Korean Unification Minister Chung Dong-young proposed a four-way dialogue involving South Korea, North Korea, the US, and China to establish a peace regime on the Korean Peninsula. He urged North Korea to rejoin the Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) for regional development and connectivity projects, stating North Korea would be the biggest beneficiary.
