
Former White House official: Consensus growing in US for South Korea's nuclear authority expansion
Fred Fleitz, former chief of staff to the National Security Advisor in the Trump administration, stated that there is a growing consensus in the U.S. to expand South Korea's nuclear authority. He emphasized that revising the current agreement to allow South Korea full access to the nuclear fuel cycle is supported by bipartisan agreement in the U.S., despite potential objections from the Department of Energy.
