
Kenyan Runner Sebastian Sawe Breaks Marathon World Record in London
Kenyan marathon runner Sebastian Sawe received a hero's welcome at Nairobi's airport after breaking the men's world record at the London Marathon, completing the race in 1:59:30—65 seconds faster than the previous record and becoming the first to run sub-two hours in a sanctioned event. The defending champion was greeted by family and Sports Minister Salim Mvurya, dedicating his achievement to his supporters and country.
