Parks Victoria Proposes Amendment to Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park Management Plan

Parks Victoria has proposed an amendment to the Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park management plan, moving away from blanket climbing bans. The new draft would close approximately 100 climbing routes to protect Wotjobaluk cultural heritage, leaving over 3,000 open, a reduction from an earlier proposal to close 2,000 routes. Public feedback is open for four weeks.
