Nvidia Jensen Huang on what excites him to most when it comes to robotics and physical AI

Nvidia's chief Jensen Huang sees a future where computers understand the physical world. This 'Physical AI' will revolutionize industries like manufacturing and logistics. Every object will have a precise 3D digital twin. This allows for virtual testing of robots and simulations. Generative AI will then interact with these digital twins, merging creativity with the real world.

AI Surrogates Promise to Slash CFD Simulation Time from Hours to Seconds in Motorsports

IBM and Dallara have published research demonstrating that AI neural operators can run CFD aerodynamic simulations in seconds that previously required tens of thousands of core-hours. The Gauge-Invariant Spectral Transformer (GIST) was trained on LMP2 sports prototype data and achieved comparable error margins to conventional CFD methods. F1 teams including Red Bull are already using similar AI tools from startup Neural Concept to maximize their limited wind tunnel and CFD allocations.

Russia Developing AI Digital Twin of Space City for Food Production Simulations

Russian specialists at the Russian Research Institute of the Food Concentrate Industry and Specialized Food Technology are developing an AI-powered digital twin of a future city in deep space. The model will simulate food production conditions on the Moon and Mars, helping researchers understand how to make food, preserve crops, process waste, and cook in extraterrestrial settlements.
