아동복지 전문기관 초록우산은 한국산업은행과 함께 전국 가족돌봄아동 지원 규모를 기존 연 1억 원에서 2억 원으로 확대한다고 4일 밝혔다.
이에 따라 양 기관은 전국 가족돌봄아동 40명에게 매달 지급해 온 생계비 및 학업비 지원을 한층 강화할 계획이다.
가족돌봄아동은 어린 나이에 질병이나 장애 등이 있는 가족을 돌보는 아동을 뜻한다.
양 기관은 2024년부터 3년 연속 함께 가족돌봄아동 지원 사업을 이어오고 있으며, 앞으로도 아동의 안정적 생활을 위한 지원에 나설 방침이다.
