김춘성 조선대 총장은 "조선대의 보건의료 분야 경쟁력을 끌어올리는 중요한 전환점"이라며 "웰에이징 글로컬대학 전략과 연계해 지역과 세계를 연결하는 보건의료 인재 양성 모델을 완성해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
박명희 조선간호대 총장은 "양 대학의 통합은 숙원이자 새로운 도약의 출발점"이라며 "디지털 기반 간호 교육과 지역 사회 연계 교육을 통해 인재를 양성하겠다"고 말했다.
