MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Russia’s Second Western District Military Court will consider, in absentia, a criminal case against former UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace (2019-2023), charged with calling for terrorist activity online, the court’s press service told TASS.
"The court has received materials in the criminal case against Wallace, charged in absentia with committing an offense under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code (calls for public promotion of terrorism on the internet). At preliminary hearings, the procedure for the in absentia trial will be determined, as well as the date of the first substantive hearing," the court’s press secretary said.
