〔記者粘藐云／台北報導〕台灣女足目前已經出發前往關島，備戰6月5日登場的東亞盃資格賽，但女足工會昨天爆料這次沒有隊醫隨行。對此，今天運動部長李洋出席教育及文化委員會時回應，會和工會、選手了解大家的需求，但過去自己擔任選手期間，隊醫的設置大概只有亞奧運層級賽事會有，未來若足球發展更加壯盛，當然也會希望有隊醫隨行。
女足工會昨天爆料，台灣女足這次前往東亞盃沒有隊醫隨行，國家隊在正式國際賽不派隊醫的情況相當罕見，並強調隊醫與功能性的運動科學人員不同，是選手隻身在國外征戰時，面對傷病風險最核心的安心來源。
對於女足工會提出沒有隊醫的問題，足協提出解釋，此行受限於大會競賽規定，各隊僅能登錄7名隊職員，並強調大會確認將於比賽日指派當地專業醫師，全程支援我國代表隊的醫療需求。賽前技術會議中，我國隊職員已經再次與大會指派的隊醫碰面，確認後續所有的醫療與應變流程，未來若賽事主辦方未提供此類醫療支援，將克服名額限制，優先配置隊醫隨行。
針對女足未有隊醫隨行的問題，今天運動部長李洋在受訪時表示，還是希望能夠先跟工會、選手去了解狀況，「即使假設只有7個職員的限定，也希望先跟選手來了解他們的需求是什麼，再來進行參賽職員的指派。」過去身為運動員，李洋也常有在國外出賽的經驗，他坦言，是否有隊醫隨行確實有差別，「過去同樣身為代表隊的球員，隊醫部分，大概是只有亞奧運。那當然足球項目，未來如果發展得更好的話，那我們當然希望有隊醫能隨行，肯定是對選手更有保障、更有照顧。」
