Egypt and US Discuss Strategic Relations, Regional Stability
Egypt affirmed its appreciation for strategic relations with the US during a meeting between President Sisi and a delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Discussions focused on regional stability, combating terrorism, and the Palestinian issue, emphasizing the importance of the two-state solution. Separately, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with his Somali counterpart to discuss maritime security, the release of kidnapped sailors, and support for the African Union mission in Somalia.
