A city in eastern China's Jiangsu province has signed an agreement with Alibaba Cloud and Wangsu Science and Technology to build a data center that will directly connect to renewable energy plants, aiming to boost token output efficiency by 62.5%.
Yang Youlin, a former Nanjing economic development official, has been sentenced to death by a Chinese court for accepting over 2.21 billion yuan ($325 million) in bribes and other corruption charges. The sentence includes asset confiscation and recovery of illicit funds.
