Park Min-sik, a candidate for the Busan Buk-gap by-election, claimed that recent opinion poll samples are politically contaminated and distort public opinion. He also stated that Han Dong-hoon's volunteer shelter may have violated election law and called for an investigation.
The People Power Party is focusing on criticizing the current administration ahead of the June 3rd local elections. Jang Dong-hyuk, a key election committee member, reiterated his opposition to conservative unification in the Busan Bukgap by-election, praising Park Min-sik's commitment while criticizing another candidate. Another party leader, Cho Gwang-han, intensified criticism against Han Dong-hoon, suggesting his presence harms the party's approval ratings.
Independent candidate Han Dong-hoon, running in the Busan Buk-gu갑 by-election, countered accusations of being a 'traitor' from rival Park Min-sik, stating he chose the nation and its people over President Yoon Suk-yeol. Supporters of both candidates clashed briefly at the same venue.
