해군 제1함대사령부는 1항공대에 배속된 MH-60R 해상작전헬기가 동해상 해경 경비함 3018함에서의 첫 이·착함 훈련을 진행했다고 3일 밝혔다.
이날 훈련을 통해 1함대는 동해상 더 넓은 해역에서 더 오랫동안 작전 임무 수행이 가능해졌음을 확인하며 해상인명구조 지원 등 여러 영역의 해양작전 역량을 한층 끌어올렸다.
1함대는 이후에도 해상작전헬기의 해경 경비함 이·착함 훈련 기회를 확대해 군·경 해양작전 협조체계를 지속 강화해 나갈 방침이다.
